Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10:30 amโ€“11 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Rustica at (215) 627-1393; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is rusticaphilly.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 461 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Philadelphia peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

9/10. My first experience was INCREDIBLE. I was roaming the neighborhood, stumbled upon this wonderful pizza place, and randomly picked a slice of pepperoni. It was amazingโ€”soft, fluffy, slightly sweet dough that practically melted in my mouth. I immediately ordered two more slices: a Sicilian and a sweet honey one. Both were peak experience! ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ Went back a month later, but there was a different staff and the pizza just tasted like normal pizza. I don't know what happened, but I'd definitely try them again just to chase that amazing first time.

Not to be dramaticโ€ฆ but the square pie was one of the best crust to sauce ratios Iโ€™ve ever had. Crust was so crunchy and soft at the same time. I died a little bit and then had to resurrect myself to eat more

Called up about 1130 on Thursday 6/25 and ordered a cheesesteak and Italian hoagie and got a slice of pepperoni when I got there. Ill tell you what, the Italian is freaking perfect. The steak is someone else's so I didn't eat any of that but the slice and the Italian are amazing. They use quality meats and cheeses and their bread is incredible. I haven't been here since the new owners but ill be back.

Edit: The owner called me apologizing for the issue and gave me a credit. I ordered again and they were very kind to not only give me free pizzas, but also to show how the boxes were properly sealed in their delivery bag. The order was perfect and the pizzas were delicious. I ordered 2 pizzas a couple weeks ago and had no issues. This past Sunday I ordered a large one and the box was not properly folded, making the pizza a bit exposed. Since it was delivery, I got concerned because I didnโ€™t know how the driver handled the pizza. The issue was that the box wasnโ€™t properly assembled, so it didnโ€™t close on the sides (see pictures). I called Rustica and they said that they do that on purpose because they donโ€™t want to fold the pizza. When I said I got concerned about the way the box was cared or stored in the vehicle (was it a bike, even?), they said they are transported in a bag. I didnโ€™t see it, but decided to trust it. They said they would keep an eye on my address for the next time I order, but honestly, we know thatโ€™s a tough one. The call didnโ€™t take long, but when I opened the box to eat, the pizza was super cold - so one more reason to properly close the box. This was not a de

First time trying this place and it didn't disappoint at all. It's under new ownership and I have to say, the pizza was great. If you like wings, you have to try the Boom Boom wings. I definitely recommend giving them a try.
